Kittery Point Home- Kittery Point, Maine

Tucked in the coastal town of Kittery Point, this custom home boasts stunning views that complement its modern and sustainable design. Built less than 120 feet from the ocean, the home needed to remain strong against harsh weather conditions and ensure comfort and safety for its residents.

Using concrete and Insulated Concrete Forms from Nudura was the perfect solution for this durability and superior energy performance, drastically reducing heating and cooling costs. Additionally, the thermal mass of the concrete provides year-round temperature stability, a key advantage in New England's fluctuating climate.

A standout feature of the Kittery Point Home is its ICF safe room, designed to provide unmatched security and protection from extreme weather events, ensuring safety for homeowners.

The homeowner’s vision was ambitious given the small footprint, with five floors and expansive windows to frame the breathtaking ocean views. With the help of ICFs, this project highlights how sustainability and durability can come together for luxurious living.
